Post-show Report: Plugged into ANGA COM! Discover HYC’s latest products on site!

 The ANGA COM 2023 ended. We visited with current customers and with dozens of prospects on the show. We launched our new product, and hopefully expanded the brand HYC with you. After the show we want to show what progresses we have made here.

HYC is one of the world’s leading passive optical devices ODM/JDM manufacturer on fiber optical products with over 23 years of experience. With the capability and experience HYC is able to provide integrated solutions and products from R&D, producing, marketing and service.

With the accumulation and precipitation year after year, HYC concludes itself with 6 core technical edges and platforms. We are capable of optical design, simulation and ray tracing which also supports our basic ability to make optical fibre products. We are able to design free-space optics and sub-micron alignment, coupling and assembly which allow us to produce free-space CCWDM and other items. We also can design and manufacture high density parallel optical products such as Fiber Array (FA) and MT series. We own high precision mechanical mold injection ability to make the plastic parts required for products such as fiber optic connectors and adapter and modules of WDM and PLC splitters. Apart from these capabilities, HYC also possesses the ability of automatic precision assembly and testing and substrate/wafer back-end processing which will greatly back up the R&D and producing of products. Most importantly, we are able to integrate these platforms for the corresponding product manufacturing process.

The following are some of the products and solutions we highlight for you:

l  Solutions for high-density Data Center: HYC provides a one-stop solution for high-density environment interconnect whose products ranging from fiber connectors, adapters, patch cords, patch panels to the newly launched optical flex circuits. Different from the normal ones, HYC always consider about making our products more functional and meeting with customers’ needs. Such as our push-pull LC connector for easily unlock from the panel, inner shutter adapter to prevent from leakage of signal and dust, secure lockable connector to ensure network security, meanwhile we have a series of product such as MPO, MDC, CS, SN patch cables along with the patch panel to use for high-density cases. The most noteworthy product must be the Optical Circuit which is used for interconnection of large quantity optical fibers in backplanes and cross-connected system providing a manageable method for card-to-card or rack-to-rack fiber routing and greatly saving space compared with traditional cabling.

l  PON Solutions for FTTx and 5G deploymentA passive optical network (PON) is a fiber-optic network utilizing a point-to-multipoint topology and optical splitters to deliver data from a single transmission point to multiple user endpoints. Passive, in this context, refers to the unpowered condition of the fiber and splitting/combining components. In contrast to an active optical network, electrical power is only required at the send and receive points, making a PON inherently efficient from an operation cost standpoint. The optical line terminal (OLT) is the starting point for the passive optical network. It is connected to a core switch through Ethernet pluggable. The primary function of the OLT is to convert, frame, and transmit signals for the PON network and to coordinate the optical network terminal (ONT) multiplexing for shared upstream transmission. The ONT is the powered device of the passive optical network system at the opposite (user) end of the network and includes Ethernet ports for in home device or network connectivity. In these sections we have WDM products and PLC splitters for PON networks. Our WDM and PLC splitters are both packaged in different methods such as just device, tube, ABS module, and rack mount type. Considering cost-effective, space-saving, high-performance solutions, we develop reflective and high-isolation WDM with ultra-small size and high isolation, compact size WDM module, and high reliable CEx module for smoothly upgrading to next generation network. For FTTx, we have high performance PLC splitters and fiber optic wall plate outlets with full packed of fiber connectors and adapters.

l  What needs to be mentioned separately is the Polarization Maintaining (PM) Fiber Array-MT. IT is an optical subassembly for 400G ZR/ZR+ high-speed transceivers to solve the key problem of coherent module interface. The feature of this product is that multiple PM FAs and multiple MTs can be randomly combined in any series or array according to demands, and it is suitable for various CPO photoelectric co-packaged coherent communication modules.
